Crookhouse is managed by Lynney Holden who lives nearby and whose main objective is to ensure that your holiday is a success.

Crookhouse forms part of the Lanton estate which is privately owned.

We are in North Northumberland close to the Scottish border. Our nearest town  is  Wooler which is a typical Border market town.   Wooler is on the A697 which runs from Morpeth up into Scotland . We are just north of Wooler in the foothills of the Cheviots. You can view details here

On arrival you will be introduced to your cottage which will have the full compliment of linen, as much hot water as you need and a stack of logs for the winter months.

Guests can explore many places of interest in an area steeped in history and of outstanding natural beauty. Lynney will direct you as to where to go and who to speak to, where bookings need to be made she can also help with the necessary arrangements.

Not only are we able to offer a selection of homemade fresh or frozen dishes which can be ordered, prepared and in place prior to your arrival but also can arrange for caterers to cook if required. All you need to do is e-mail Lynney in advance.
